Forged by our leaders Can these old seasons Rectify the means before the cause Stepping forth from the embers white as gold And wrapped in crimson The beauty's here if you see it The music's real if you listen Can we sow, can we grow on this island Of dissent Can we commit, can we admit To something And our heads, head for the hills When history's darkness is revealed, please don't run For the morning's coming We can this world the way we need And our generation has a song that sounds so different to everyone We can sow, we can grow on this island Of existence We can commit, we can admit To something And freedom is a chain for us And peace is lies they told to us A photograph's what we've become Our future is a beating drum And we will hear the story now I wish I could believe that somehow We will persevere And not be another casualty I want what you have promised me I need a little spark of hope I want to be as white as gold

Song for Lin 03:39
I'm beyond words For you have said yours and I Think we both see That there's nothing here left for me So I guess the time has now come Though it's clear that it's just one of us That may make it out alive So knowing now that this table's set Do I sit and eat, all of my lies That tell me I'm fine, when I'm not You have heard all I've got Guess there's nothing more here I can offer Maybe it's better for you, to jump out of your views and Make some mistakes for a while Thought I won't be the one to be at All the places where you might land We have memories and chemistry That tears at every part of me now, so deep inside So knowing now that this table's set Do I sit and eat, all of my lies That tell me I'm fine, some time Can mend, things we have done to our own end Hope you can see that I, won't eat alone I'll wait til' we both, meet again

If we both, take a moment Can we follow the dreams that we've spun? I don't know, if I'm able To pack up my bags and just run If we go at the same time, I guarantee we will not last How I hope, that I can do, a shred of the things that you ask And I wait for reality to fall like the rain from the sky And I want, I want you so bad that I will not be denied Strike down the stars that don't believe Drive out the demons hiding inside of me Warm up our souls with your bodies words Lay with me, hopes and dreams Until we leave this world I am here, I am waiting For you to come around And believe, I won't leave this place Unless I show you what I've found Strike down the stars that don't believe Drive out the demons hiding inside of me Warm up our souls with your bodies words Lay with me, hopes and dreams Until we leave this world
